The time it takes for a tree to grow? What kind of tree? The time it takes to walk the woods? When and how far do we go? The time it takes to capture a great picture? or do we randomly shoot? What is a great picture? Does it reflect our mind, our soul, our world? The time it takes to tell a story from a series of photographs, are the pictures enough without words attached? Maybe each and everybody’s interpretation of the photographs parallels the variety of trees growing in the forest. I propose a sequence of pictures taken over a few months during the pandemic of 2020, isolation and confinement drew me outside. On my walkabouts of hope and meditation, I found myself immersed deep in the forest as if in water. I experienced forest bathing what the Japanese call ShinrinYoku.
